The Old man took care of all the fish in ‘The Ritz’, he had come to the city with hopes of becoming a school teacher some day, but all he was doing now was feeding the fish, cleaning the tank and showing visitors around. Maybe it was his school boy attitude towards life that kept him going that way, happy and content.
The Fish that lived.
~A Fantasy Fish tale
BY Vidyalakshmi.K.P
There are big fish and there are little fish, in our story we have plenty of both, the common factor among them being that they all lived in ‘The Ritz’, a huge tank. They were of different types, some were goldfish, others were the normal fish, they had names, but Yours truly prefers to call them by alphabets. The biggest fish of all was ‘Es’(read ‘s’) ohh wait, there is another ‘Es’ in this story so the biggest fish now becomes ‘Cee’.
‘Cee’ was big, really big and everyone in the Ritz knew of Cee, he was popular, the best of the lot and had scales that shined like real gold. Cee was a fish who had all the happiness in the world and knew how to make more happiness and handle it, speaking of happiness I should introduce you to Vee, one of the happiest goldfishes in the tank, this time a little one. Vee was a dancing fish, a dancing fish who danced all her way into Cee’s life, Cee danced too, ofcourse, there was nothing that Cee dint do, that ofcourse explains the reason for his popularity, and one day Cee said to Vee, lets swim together,Vee was shocked, but was a sport though, and after that day Cee and Vee could be seen swimming together in the farest corners of the Ritz together. After about 300 fish calls and a few thousand aqua messages, Cee and Vee were inseparable, they still are. During the course of this, Cee became bigger and bigger so big that fishes in other tanks and in the open sea spoke of him. Now entered ‘Es’ into Vee’s life, Es was another big fish not as big as Cee but still big. Vee being a goldfish that always tried to swim against the tide, and fancied by the spur of the moment like a girl would be I d say, liked Es now. Es seemed to like Vee too, or so she thought. Vee was in love, like never before, Vee sang
Ohh My sea,
I want My Es
Will I ever get to see the west?
Best are the shores where the conches lay,
I promise you, by this bay
I shall be the best in my way.
It was a weird song to sing, but Vee was weird too, maybe like Cee.
So Es and Vee were happy fishes, that spoke of beachy blues and development in the sea for quite some time.but, Vee was a little apprehensive fish that took a stide across things that seemed to be to find things that were and our little vee made sure it would no longer have to swim with Es (Pretension quite helps you know, especially when you are a little fish with enough intellect), and bang a fish in your hand is worth two in the water, but you can always catch a big fish before putting the small one back in, *wink*, Vee was back to CEE who at that time, was in dire need of a dancing fish and Vee all the more.
Talk about Time(ing) management and multitasking in the head.

Well the moral of the story--!
Big fish will always be big fish.
