November Rain!
Have you got soaked to the bone in the rain and squinted your eyes to get a clear view of a row of street lamps that looked like lanterns from heaven and felt happy when you thought about it later? Well I waded through knee deep water, shivered in the cold and had lot of fun ‘people watching’ i.e. watching people walk in the rain, walk fast, and the occasional person who outstretched his arms to resemble the wings of a bird and then ran! The sky was absolutely clear when Me and Amma left home to go out, but within 6 minutes of riding onto ECR, it was raining cats and dogs, God must ve been in a weird mood today! Not only were we soaked but it was impossible to ride any further as the rain was soopar heavy, we waited under a tree for some time and then when the rain seemed considerably lesser, decided to hop on to out bike and ride away, but four minutes later the rain was back to stage one, really heavy, and we found shelter in a place opposite the tree, well it takes come time to cross the road, the u-turns and all, you know what I mean
anyway when I got home and heard my brand new floaters squeaking because of the water that had gotten in, I knew life was all about finding music where there is none!

Dostana- a Lil dosti and a lot of bright designer clothes.
Its not often you watch two hindi movies in a week and think both of them are real good, well I saw Fashion and Dostana and liked both, the first for the clarity of its content and the second for its oomph! And Glamour and JOHN
and Abhishek and Priyanka and Shilpa shetty. shilpa shetty! -She looks half her age and man!!! Looks like one of the stick figures we draw while learning flash.(Reminder to self- Twenty extra Jumps on the skip rope tomorrow). The now famous story line is actually refreshing and had the audience in splits throughout, and yea the whole of the theatre screamed and clapped and went hysterical whenever a new character came into the frame, even Kiron kher! the movie is very very ‘Karan joharish’, very very filmy, there is even a scene in which John pretends to be the character Shahrukh played in Kuch kuch hota hai, well I guess director Tarun Mansukhani though it wouldn’t do harm to screen some parts of karan’s earlier hits. 
The clothes though itsy bitsy were all a delight to the eye though I must add that John’s Orange watch looked well ‘Gay’, like the Bright happy Gay. The Little boy who acted as Bobby deol’s Son was the cutest boy I ve seen since I saw Biju Menon’s son on a magazine cover. The movie though typically filmy had a rather unconventional ending and left audiences asking for more, well I thin if you already haven’t, then you should go for this one. Iam not reviewing fashion simply because I think everyone who reads this should watch it, really.

Got to watch Dostana, heard good things about it... nice blog!

soaked to the bone huh.. well cant say i've gone through such a "surreal" experience.. though i must say that i've had quite a number of experiences when it feels like like my skin is burnt off, and my head was smouldering.. :p
and ur right.. God has been in quite a weird mood for the last couple of days...
Dostana is as u said very Karan Joharish.. in his own words, he likes to make films "larger than life"!!! though i must admit i enjoyed the movie very much.. puts quite a spin on stuff thats considered taboo in many parts of India... ;)..
Abhishek's car was more of a Austin Powers shake off!!!, very interesting actually..
why did u say that the ending was quite unconventional?? i felt like it was quite expected.. c'mon, ab and john were too much the playboy type.. and personally i felt that abi was having too much fun playin gay, ;-) it did cross my mind that either one of them may really turn out to be gay!! haha.. now that would have been quite a statement.. *grin*

most people i know would be happy after dostana's release.. everyone needs a grip in their life... and i had a romantic rainy weekend tooo
there have been a lot of good reviews about both the movies... though i'm yet to see either..

First timer here!!! Nice pics!! and No november rain in hyderabad... It was lovely description of a rainy day...
