The Terror attacks have left everyone terrorized, and My heart goes out to the innocent victims who, for no fault of theirs suffered, there is still fear in all our hearts, fear that we don’t wish to show others for remarks like ‘What does like Chennai have for them to bomb?’ comes my way, but yet I know I love my country and I love my city, whatever said and done I fear for it. Then someone comes up and says Chennai is next, someone else insists it will be Hyderabad and somewhere across the room I hear someone say ‘Ya so Shivraj Patil has finally resigned’ what difference does it make now I ask.

We celebrated Ammuma’s Birthday yesterday, I made a cake, tried my hand at frosting it for the first time ever! Did what every beginner does, played around with the whipped cream, luckily it tasted good though it wasn’t such a pretty sight.

Went back to college after 5 whole holidays today, phew! How I hated it, hate it and will continue to hate, ok I know hate is a strong word, I dislike it, but then I did some soul searching, not just mine but other people’s too, ie people who suffer the same as me, and found that it is the lack of anything productive to do that is doing this to us, in other words, we are jobless and we don’t like it, or when we have something to do, we are, scolded, screamed at for the silliest of things and then overworked which obviously affects our performance and end up feeling that I could’ve done 10 times better, I know dealing with stress and working under pressure is important but this is like pressure in the pressure cooker with the ‘weight’ on its head. But then again, This is why I love life! Speaking of cookers lemme run, its pasta day today, and the head chef is needed in the kitchen.

Pic- The cake i made, It does look silly i know, but my ammuma was happy and more happy than a store cake could have made her so am i too!

ah . . .vettiness is a blissful state! Just like ignorance :)
these terror attacks sometimes remind me of the bullies we had to face in school.. these good for nothin cowards sneak in, and kill a number of us Indians and then they run away!! Wat the heck do they get for their "cause" by killing innocent people??? the poor mumbaites are quite resilient though.. how many terror attacks have they faced and they still are one proud lot!! never too mind to stick one up against those terrorists idiots!! and the worst lot are ur dear politicians!! they change their views like wind blows!!
t'was ur granma's b'day, belated wishes to ur matriarch.. i aint a judge of "head chefs" though i must say that u have quite a steady hand ;-). ur granma's eyes sure must have brightened up! hope pasta day turned a lot better.. lol!!
