Live dont just exist!

I so totally love me, After recieving the most self obsessed person award 4 times in a row, they ve now put me on the jury, and guess wat! thats made me modesttt..... coz i don enough time to look at myself in the mirror, *reapplies lip stick* and talk about myself, now its about other people..... And maybe, just maybe, i ve become a better person now..... *Wide eyed*
I understand it takes a long time to make other people understand you are the best person around.

am actually always reading something or the other.

3. FAVORITE BOARD GAME?
There is this game called 'ups and downs' that i have, its a cute version of snake and ladder, where when one scores we dont go up the ladder but do good things and move up (help old people, carry watter for women... blah blah) and when we lose we trip on a bannana peel, get run over by a tricycle....or sumthing like tht .

4. FAVORITE MAGAZINE?
'Better Photograpy', 'Good housekeeping' (eh, Dont smirk) , India today, Femina and filmfare once in a while, Vanita (Just look at the pictures and the ads coz my relationship with malayalam ends with saying big words and pretending i know the
meanings of all poems... (i dont read malayalam, been trying to learn but there are too many 'vallis and pullis) its the Bestsssst language in the world to talk though.


5. FAVORITE SMELLS?

Coffee, A new book, Rain, tandoori chicken, Nice perfume, oflate the smell of 'vivel de wills' soap (The ad says the smell lasts forever, i dono about that but the perfume of the soap is nice.... .)

6. FAVORITE SOUND?

I havent thought about this one . i like all kinda nice sounds.... which dont include my neighbours kid screeeeeching (note the word) at 7.30 am

7. WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD?

When you fail, then when you fail again. or maybe when you never tried when you should have...
when you let people down.

KFC... i love subway but subway is healthy food so it doesnt count in fast food Right? and Dosas at my college canteen ... yummmm

There are many food blogs around and i love each and every one of them, learning new dishes and styles of cooking from each. So ive decided to post some of my favourite recipies here, I dont know any fancy terms and you even possibily find reciepies of stuff you ve thought grows out of the earth, food snobs can keep away and others, well like always only a foodie can understand another foodie.
The First of this series is Here .

Strawberries are quite expensive in chennai, and not only that they taste quite terrible at times, but there are these sudden times when you get a box of yummmy sweet strawberries at dirt cheap prices, (You should know where to look) and those days i make this dessert, its called Strawberry-Happy day-Delite. (I named it that, {Like duh}). Its Easy to make and every one here loves it, My dad who makes me remove all the strawberries from the table if he is anywhere in the vicinity, because he hates the look of it, eats bowls of this dessert.


Strawberry-Happyday-Delite.

You will Need

One Box Fresh strawberries
Milk - one cup
Sugar- 5 tbsps
Vannila essence - 2 drops
Gelatine- 3 tsps
Whipped Cream
A Blender (Mixie)
and a happy person to make this

First take half cup of milk and add 2 drops of vannila essence and the sugar. Keep aside.

Then make a puree of the strawberries.
To make Puree-
Clean and cut the the strawberries and put into a blender and beat on high till the strawberries become like a pulp. Now add the milk (with the essence and sugar) and whip (Use the whip button of the blender). Now transfer this into a bowl.

Take the 3tsps of Gelatine and soak it in water.

Now, in a saucepan take the Remaining half cup of milk and heat, add the soaked gelatine into it and wait for it to thicken, now add the strawberry puree and cook.
Remove from the stove and set to cool.
after it cools keep it in the refrigerator for 5-6 hrs.
Serve with Whipped Cream. Enjoy!
