Dang Dang Green!
Most educated people don’t beat their kids anymore, but then there are tons of kids who are brutally hit by parents, teachers and other people as well. Well iam not an advocate of corporal punishment but then sometimes just sometimes you need to resort to it to leave a lasting impression. Ive never been hit when I was small, now don’t say that is why iam such a spoilt person, but iam sure when I have a kid and it behaves Real bad, then I shall use my whacking skills, am already practicing.
Around 4-5 years ago, I stayed in a rented flat and the kid above our house used to cry at 7.30 sharp every morning, now this ritual of screams from the 1st floor was like an alarm for us to know it was seven thirty, we found out within a few days that the kid was hit/slapped by her mother every day at 7.30, reason being that she would not brush her teeth if she wasn’t hit, that was the weirdest excuse ever, I would’ve probably taught the kid the reasons and advantages of brushing teeth, the poor kid cried all the way to school everyday, I remembered her while listening to the news today as Obama’s wife has the same name as that poor kido. I wonder if parents have ever beaten her, Obama’s wife I mean.
My mom however will tell you a different story, parents now threaten to go to the press if the teachers so much as warn the children of punishments, so my mom, a Teacher, feels that it is better to not get into controversies, what if the kids go bad in the bargain? Parents don’t seem to care vidya I do my best in straightening things out, she said, "but sometimes it doesn’t work, in those cases I has to overlook it, and not care about them, its not what we want to do, but then we don’t really have a choice."
"Kochu kutigal kuttam cheidhal Koolu mutaii, DANG dang"
My uncle used to say this to my when I was small, literally translated it means
When little kids make mistakes, they get ‘dang dang’ with a Lollypop.
The lollypop however referring to a cane/stick rather than its sweet equivalent. And ‘dang’ to a you know what. (Spanking!)
Even Enid Blyton’s hostel stories had an unwritten rule that badly behaved kids got a spank with the biggest hairbrush they could find.
If you have any ‘spanking stories’ or ‘naughty stories’ of how you almost got spanked post them in the comments section. I cant remember even one, I must’ve been a really good kid.
Ps- The title has the color Green, coz Green is therapeutic and so is a Spank.
